Expanding the DAOC Experience — Trying new characters
Dark Age of Camelot seems, as do most games I’ve played, to favor one class over others. For Player versus Player combat, an Albion player might consider the best class to be the Infiltrator.

For farming loot and generally enjoying the Player versus Environment experiences, the class of choice seems to be the Necromancer.
I have given in on both counts and I am in the process of leveling both sets types of these characters.
The infiltrators allow us to sneak and use poisons. Alilbittygirl is the name of my new infiltrator, and I will spare you the name of my necro. I chose the infiltrator name, as it is fun to watch the words “playerX was killed by Alilbittygirl.” in the “death spam” window. The real role of the necromancer is to deal substantial damage to the creatures in the environment.
It’s been a fun learning process, and I have slowed down my game play a bit to appreciate the journey. Spending time on the battlegrounds has been a great deal of fun. Having multiple characters also allows you to experience the same environment from a different perspective.
